On Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of September, we will be hosting a Coffee and Cake morning from 10am until 1pm at the Cross Keys Pub. This special two-day event is part of our efforts to support Cancer Research UK, a charity doing incredible work in the fight against cancer.
Our aim is not only to raise much-needed funds for this important cause, but also to bring together the valued members of our local community in a warm, relaxed, and friendly setting. Whether you’re a regular at the pub, new to the area, or simply looking for a pleasant morning out, everyone is welcome. And of course, we haven’t forgotten about your four-legged friends—well-behaved pups are more than welcome to join in the fun.
Throughout the morning, we will be serving deliciously roasted coffee and perfectly blended tea, ideal for catching up with friends or meeting new faces. These will be complemented by a tempting selection of sweet treats and freshly baked pastries, all prepared to make your visit extra enjoyable. From classic favourites to indulgent bites, there will be something to suit every taste.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a relaxed morning, support a meaningful cause, and be part of a community-focused event. Every cup of coffee and slice of cake will help contribute to the vital research and support services provided by Cancer Research UK.
